We recently worked on a the start of a project to replace an old extension with a brand-new two-story addition in the lovely village of Manton, Wiltshire. This required careful planning and execution to ensure strong foundations for the new building.
The first step was the safe and systematic takedown of the existing extension.
Our team then carefully excavated the ground to remove the old footings and prepare the area for the new foundations. This involved using specialized equipment to ensure the trenches were at the correct depth and width, following structural engineering specifications.
With the site prepped, we poured new footings, ensuring they were level and set to handle the weight of the upcoming two-story structure.
